York Beach, ME – Daniel M. Dacko, 74, of York Beach, ME since 1990, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 8, 1947 in Boston, MA a son of the late Michael “Babe” and Patricia M. (Burns) Dacko. He went on to marry his true love, the late Nanci A. (Ireland) Dacko in 1980 and together they raised their five boys in Norwood, MA.
Daniel was a 48 year member of IBEW Local 103 Boston.
Surviving family members include his sons, Richie Dacko and his wife Linda of Eliot, ME, Shayne Dacko and his wife Raquel of Walpole, MA, Mike Dacko and his wife Lisa of Wrentham, MA, Gary Landers and his wife Kathy of Sullivan, NH and Ronnie Landers and his wife Susan of Norwood, MA; siblings, Patricia Petrucci and her husband Al, Paul Dacko and his wife Cheryl and Michael Dacko and his wife Teresa; grandchildren, Carrie Landers, Shayna Dacko, Whitney Dacko, Tyler Dacko, Jacob Dacko, Sarah Dacko and Alex Dacko and great grandchildren, Jadyn Poff, Noah Theriault and Carter Theriault.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his brother, Richard Dacko.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday August 14, 2021 at St. Peter’s By-The-Sea Episcopal Church, 535 Shore Rd., Cape Neddick, Maine.
