I had the great pleasure of knowing Annette in the last year of her life. Annette was a beloved member of the Yiddish Class at Temple Israel where she contributed immeasurably despite her failing health. We grieve the sudden loss her warm presence.
May Annetteās memory be a blessing and may her family be consoled .

I want to share my deep condolences with Annette’s family and friends. Over the past year we sat side by side at many a Yiddish class at Temple Israel, where Annette shared her delightful energy, humor, and memories from her early years. It was a pleasure to know her, though a brief one. May your memories be a blessing over years to come.
I loved Annette. She was a wonderful, close friend and I am bereft at her death. She was a kind and generous person, always open and fair to people. She was hamishe (warm, familiar, like home). Ivan and Annette were an integral part of my life for many years both in Great Neck and at Pelican Cove.
My family, all of whom knew and loved Annette, join me in sending Ruthie our condolences. She lost a wonderful mother.
I am so sorry to hear about Annette. She and her husband were very dear friends to my mother-in-law Ann who sadly passed away on March 29, 2023. May they both rest in peace knowing their work here on earth is done and that they live on in our hearts.
So sorry to hear of Annette’s passing. I met Annette as a middle/high schooler and always enjoyed her company. She was a dear friend of my mom, Edna Gwosdow.
