To the Angis Family,
Tim and I worked together at Portsmouth Country Club for the passed three years. Over that time we became very close friends. I loved him like a brother and will never forget our friendship. He had wonderful stories about his escapades playing golf over the years. I will miss him. Please accept my humble and sincere condolences.

I’m so sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. Tim was a neighbor and childhood classmate. He used to come over and help me do chores, such as raking leaves and shoveling, then scheme on how we could make real money doing this! He was a buoyant personality in high school, and loved attending our TA reunions, working the room as he individually caught up with classmates. My heartfelt condolences to Tim’s loved ones and friends.
I was deeply saddened to hear about Tim’s passing. I’m so grateful that I had a chance to say goodbye to him. Like many people, I got to know Tim through the PCC golf community. I will miss our golf lessons and his friendly smile, but most importantly, I will miss his presence around the course. My sympathies go out to you and your family. May Tim rest in peace.
I got to know Tim some 35 years ago via golf and a mutual friend. What a wonderful guy Tim was. We always had so much fun and many many laughs while hanging together in Florida. I always looked forward to his visits and I will miss his pleasant smile and quick laugh. My condolences go out to Tim’s family, especially his daughter who I have never met but who Tim always spoke so highly of and was so very proud. RIP Tim.
My deepest sympathies to the Angis family. Tim was a big part of my development as a golfer. I have fond memories of him at Biddeford Saco. I am sorry for your loss.
We are so so sorry to hear of Tim passing…we met some 40 years ago playing New England golf tours and in Florida. He was one of the good guys and a credit to our PGA brethren.
The only things that outweighed his passion for the game were his talent and total love and pride for his daughter
Although we seldom saw each other of late, when we did get together it felt like we were simply picking up where we felt off just a minute ago.
2 years ago I was playing at Portsmouth CC with friends and on the 3 rd tee I see some nut driving over from who knows where and jumped out of his cart to give a big hug and hello- it had been a couple years since we had bumped into each other…THAT last “confrontation” was indicative of his genuine sincere soul as a person…always was that way. I appreciate all the crazy times and stories we shared and will miss him for sure.
Our sincerest thoughts go out to his entire family and legion of friends
I was so sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. He always brought a great story and fun to any golf game or dinner. He was like the Kevin Bacon of golf. Everyone who knew Tim was literally connected to the entire golf world. I have so many great memories of golf with Tim and he made every game more fun. And he was a phenomenal golfer. He loved his family and was especially proud of his daughter, Meghan. All my best thoughts to everyone who knew Tim. We were very lucky.
We have all lost a Dear Friend. My sincere condolences to Tim’s Family. The Day Tim & Julie brought Meghan Marie home when she was born, was the happiest I ever saw Tim. She was in his Heart every single day.
Some of my most memorable memories was playing golf with Tim & his brothers John & Chris. I’ll cherish those experiences forever. First met the Angis Brothers in the late 70’s at the Hamlet Golf Club in Delray Beach Fl.
To bring comfort to all who knew Tim, imagine he is in the room next to where you are, & all of a sudden he walks out of that room to greet you with a great big smile & says “Hi ____________ so great to see you!
I will think of Tim every day.

Well said Chuck. We all had some great times back in Palm Beach county. And you are so right about Tim and his daughter’s birth, it was the happiest I had ever seen him. He bragged about her every time I talked to him. He was so proud of everything she has accomplished. Hope you are well old friend.
My sincerest condolences to Tim’s family. He was an amazing golfer, golf instructor but most of all he was the most generous person you could know. I have so many great memories over the years with Tim and his massive network of golf friends. No matter where we would go Tim would undoubtedly know someone from his golf life. Although golf was Tim’s life there was nothing more precious to Tim than his beautiful daughter Meghan and his baby grandchild. They were the light of his life.
I am saddened by this news. When I was looking for golf lessons a few years ago, EVERYONE said Tim was the best fit for me. His gentle ways and ready smile along with his patience won me over immediately. This world was a better place with him in it. My condolences to his family.
Condolences to the Angis family. We got to know Tim at PCC. He was a great instructor and a great person….always smiling and friendly. He loved to show off pictures of his granddaughter. His face would light up when he talked about her.
As Ben Hogan said, “As you walk down the fairway of life, you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round.”
