You were a good man, Russ. Rest in peace, my friend. I’ll never forget riding to Laconia from Marlborough on the back of your beloved knucklehead. Thank you for being a part of my life, and for introducing me to your funny old Bengal boy, which started me on a lifelong love of the breed and led to me adopting two of my own. You won’t be forgotten.

Condolence from Neige Donahue on May 22nd, 2020 5:40 pm

Russell is my Father but he was also my Dad! There is definitely a difference. I was so fortunate to get to know my Dad a the man he was, not many kids get to experience that. We just see parents as parents, a unit or just them, but not really them as an individual. My Dad definitely like Shrek said, “had layers, like an onion.” He had so many passions in life and I know my son, daughter, husband, brother and I, along with his music, motorcycle and his AMAZING FRIENDS were all huge ones! I will miss him with every inch of me for he is half of me! My heart is broken but I want everyone who touched his life IN any way or helped him, THANK YOU!!! With all the love that you have given, you lighted the his life up! Thank you.
