Dover, NH – Robert E. Peare, 82 of Dover NH, passed away peacefully in his home on March 27, 2020 with
loved ones by his side. Born on November 13, 1937, in Center Conway NH, son of the late Ernest A. and late Mildred L. (Burwell) Meserve.

Robert enlisted in the United Stated Air Force in 1954, serving on many bases across the United States and Thailand as an airplane mechanic. In his twenty-five year service, he rose to the rank of Master Sargent before his retirement in 1979 from Pease Air Force Base.

Robert entered a Technical School in Stratham, NH to earn his associates degree in auto mechanics.

He would work for many years using his skills at Sears in NH working on cars, later at Walmart
Tire and Lube before trying his hand at the United State Postal Service before retiring to enjoy
his remaining years with the love of his life, Kampong, of 45 years. In 2017, Robert’s
health began to decline with signs of Alzheimer’s. Robert enjoyed spending time with his wife,
family and friends…Daily drives to Dunkin’s for his coffee brought a smile to his face as well.
His loving wife worked tirelessly to care for Robert with the help of a few family members, close
friends, and nurses from the VA.

Robert is also predeceased by his brother Arthur Peare, brother, Raymond Peare, brother
Jimmy Peare, brother Richard Peare and grandson Jonathan A. Peare.

Robert is survived by his wife Kampong Peare of Dover NH, sister Helen Anthony of
Davenport FL, son Robert L. and his wife LouAnn Peare of LeNoir, NC, Gordon L and his wife
Debora Peare of Somersworth, NH, Terri and her husband Scott Richer of Sanford, ME,
Kenneth A. and his wife Edie Peare of Chesapeake, VA, Marla F. and husband Ronald Bridges
of Sanford, ME, Timothy E. and his wife Jennifer Mescher of Lake Tahoe, CA, Patrick A. and
his wife Jennifer Peare of Salem NH, Thirteen grandchildren, Three great-grandchildren two on
the way and many other loved relatives.

A Celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
