Bob was a true gentleman, fisherman, Navy man, and so authentic, caring, and loving. I have so many wonderful memories of family times and parties in Mason, Marco Island, our family trip to Asheville, North Carolina and visits at The Pines. What a grill master with a steak. I will miss his laugh, twinkle in his eye and his comic relief. And most of all hearing him call me kid (at age 53) and telling me how much he loved me. Back at you Bob. Your absence will be a huge void in my life and your family’s. Love ya

Bob was the most generous person, so loving and lovable. He cared so much for those of us that became his family. He shared so many stories of his time in the Navy. Thank you for your service to this country you love. I too remember so many good times in Mason, and the other homes in NH, Marco Island with rides on his boat and steaks on the grill, the family trip to Asheville, NC. I can see now his red cheeks swelled with fun and hear his genuine and unique laughter. His joy was infectious. You have been like a grandfather to me and I am lucky to have known you. Bob was a true gentleman. I will miss our talks we had every day, reading the news paper together in the morning, and bringing him his favorite donuts from Dunkin’ Donuts. He was one of the kindest men I have ever met and he will truly be missed.
