Richard Adolph Couture, 84 years old and a resident of Berwick, Maine; previously of South Berwick, Maine; died peacefully Thursday, May 30th, 2019 with his children by his side.
He was retired from the SAD #35 School District where he was Head of Maintenance for many years.
He was born in Somersworth, New Hampshire to Yvonne & John (Jean) Couture (deceased). He was also predeceased by his brothers, Paul Couture, Lucien Couture, Albert Couture, Lionel Couture, Roland Couture and sister, Jeannette Smith. He is survived by his son, Kevin Couture of South Berwick, Maine, his daughter, Linda Corless of Strafford, New Hampshire, his sisters, Lorraine Sanborn of Enfield, Connecticut and Pauline Ross of Somersworth, New Hampshire. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jennifer Couture of Garner, North Carolina; Amanda and Brian Couture of South Berwick, Maine and Conor, Liam and Donovan Corless of Strafford, New Hampshire. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed his retirement watching birds, helping neighbors and visiting with family.
The family will have a celebration of life in the future.

Larry and I truly enjoyed Uncle Richards visits. How I loved his French accent. One of my fond memories was When he was younger and working for the school he would come and visit us and do handstands and challenge us to do them. The years have flown by to fast.
