Berwick, ME – Phillip L Mason, 78, of Berwick, ME, passed away at home on Oct. 4, 2019. He was born on June 17, 1941, in Bangor, ME, to Malcolm and Myrtle (Mushro) Mason.
Phil served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He retired from Spaulding Composites in Rochester, N.H. in 2001. He enjoyed many volunteer activities in the past, including being a member of the Berwick Police Commission, being president of the BNBLGirls Softball league, and working in volunteer positions with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
Phil is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gloria Mason; sons and daughters-in-law Eric and Debbie Mason, Keith Mason, Scott and Katt Mason; and daughter Iyse Maxwell. He is also survived by grandsons Zackary Mason, Jesse Mason, and Dylan Mason, and granddaughters Cassidy Mason, Leighanna Mason, and Melody Mason.
Phil is predeceased by his parents and his son, Terry Mason.
A celebration of life will be held next summer for family members.
