North Andover, MA– Marta B. Hornidge, 96, of North Andover, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016.
Condolences for the family of “Marta B. Hornidge”
Marta was always an inspiration and really knew how to live life to its fullest, traveling the world in many interesting ways.
Was recently thinking of Marta as I geared up for hiking the Long Trail, and sorry to learn she had passed away earlier this year. Marta had generously loaned me her backpacking gear 30+ years ago when I was just starting out.
She and Dick visited me when I first moved to Portland in ’93 which made me feel very happy.
