East Rochester, NH – Laurette L. Tsakiris, 90, of East Rochester, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side, on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

Laurette worked as a fancy stitcher in the shoe industry her entire career for various companies throughout Southeastern New Hampshire.
She was a true homebody who cherished spending time with her family, but enjoyed ‘glamping’ in her younger years, hanging out in her pool, and loved her sweet Angel – her beautiful Persian cat.
She spent 49 years with her husband George, who predeceased her in 2012.
Laurette is survived by her children, Melanie Frost and her husband Dana Hughes of South Berwick, Maine; Tori Therrien and her husband Wayne Nichols of Rochester; Roberta Roberts of Rochester; Nicholas Tsakiris and his wife Patricia of Saint Augustine, Florida; Diana St. Laurent and her husband Roderick of Berwick, Maine; George Tsakiris of Lake Worth, Florida; Dennis Tsakiris and his wife Donna of Somersworth; and her “other daughter” Aloha Cameron of Farmington; siblings Arthur Trahan of Rochester; Robert Trahan of Port Salerno, Florida; and Cynthia Trahan and her husband Wayne Swicegood of Wilmington, North Carolina. Her son, Terence Grower predeceased her in 2019. She has 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind ‘the best neighbors’ Wayne “Butch” Taylor and Kathy, and Carmen Carbone.
A casual gathering to share memories is planned for Saturday, May 7, 2022, 12-3 pm, in the Phillips Room in the American Legion Post 7, Rochester, NH.
