Everett, MA – Kimberly A. Piana, 51, of Everett, MA, passed away suddenly on Tuesday March 26, 2024. Kim was born July 13th, 1972, in Revere Massachusetts, the daughter of John Michael Piana of Clearwater, FL, Christine Smith of Drayton, SC and her Stepfather, David Foote of Spartanburg, SC. Kim leaves behind her younger brother, John A Piana (Baby Brother whom she adored) and his wife Susana (Susy) Piana of Tyngsboro, MA. Kim also leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones that she cared deeply for.

Kim was a lifelong resident of Everett, Ma. and was loud and proud to say so. She graduated from Everett High School and earned her Varsity Letter playing Softball. Kim enjoyed great music, attending many concerts of her favorite Bands throughout her lifetime. Kim liked to color, say snarky things, have a good laugh and hang out with her crew at Zeke’s. Kim enjoyed spending time with friends & family, visiting Old Orchard Beach, Weirs Beach and watching her beloved Boston Sports Teams. Kim especially loved her Boston Bruins and bled Black & Gold.

Kim lived her life the way she wanted and gave little regard to other’s opinions on that matter. Simple life and simple living were how she lived until her passing. Kim will be missed by the many who knew and loved her so dearly.

A celebration of Kim’s life will be held at a time and place to be determined soon.

Kim was like my kooky aunt. She was hilarious. It was so apparent how much she cared. She always asked about school and work and congratulated me whenever I accomplished anything. I loved her so much.

I am so sorry to hear this sad, sad news. As someone who worked with Kim for almost 10 years, I could always count on Kim to be upbeat, cheerful, and passionate about life.

I offer my heartfelt condolences to her family.

Rest in Peace, Kim.

Working with Kim for the last 5 years was truly an absolute privilege. She was the ultimate team player. Always lending a helpful hand across all departments. Even while working remotely her presence and positive enthusiasm was always felt with her cheerful “Go Bruins!” or “Go Pats!” before signing off for the night. I will remember Kim for her unwavering dedication at Commonwealth, for her contagious laugh and her quick wit. You will be deeply missed. May your one of a kind spirit rest in peace.

Wow where do I begin. Me and Kim have known each other since we were very young children. We got in so much trouble together. We hung around everyday on Arnold st revere. Went to school together. And as adults we hung around. Never lost contact with her. I’m gonna miss you Kim ! You were a good person. I love you and I hope you rest in peace 😢💔

Had a lot of fun hanging out with Kim back in the day. She’s actually the one who introduced me to my future best friend Jerry Paul. We shared an equal love for The Beatles and many other bands. Although I haven’t seen her much over the last 20 years whenever I did it was always a hug and a smile that we greeted each other with. R.I.P. Kim.. Let’s Go B-R-U-I-N-S-!

Piana –
you were one in a million!!! Always looking out for Nel and I down the courts of Glendale. After school You wld constantly be found sitting in the top left corner of the bleachers that faced the police department with your hat on backwards ( your staple look) even though you had that beautiful curly hair, that hat never came off. When Janell and I were upset about someone or something at school you would ( in words not appropriate for this page) tell us who cares you got each other and that’s all that matters but if they kept up bothering us to just point them out and she wld make sure they were nothing but polite to us from them on. She was the first to play us allot of the great bands Floyd,Sabbath, zeppelin , eagles on her boom box she wld carry around.. You were genuine, loyal, protective ,a great listener and positive influence in mine and janelles lives at a time when we really needed it.
We love you Piana our hearts are so heavy with sorrow having to say -we’ll see you again. We will miss your spark in this world
Love always
Dyan Chopelas and Janell Brown

. “Your one in a million, yeah that’s what you are, your one in a million ,your a shooting star”

Hi to all who have left condolences and messages for my Daughter Kimberly. I appreciate all of your heartfelt thoughts and prayers. Kimberly was my first child and we had a wonderful relationship in the last 20 years. I was always talking with her here from Florida and texting back in forth when the Bruins games were on. Her love for hockey started when she was very young. She would sit with me and her grandfather and watch when she was only three or four years old. I’m heartbroken that she has gone too soon. I thank you all for sharing your love and friendship remembrances in her life. God bless you!
John Michael Piana Kim’s Dad.

Kim was the realist person I knew, she didn’t give crap to anyone and didn’t take crap from anyone. and she was also kind and sweet. I only saw her a couple times a year for the last 10 years, but every time I saw her she would yell. TeeeeeJ!! Followed up with a big hug.
We would talk about family, the old days and what was new with each other. She had a great laugh
I’m going to miss her.

June 9th 2001, Me, my brother Patrick, John and Kim board the orange line train bound for the U2 concert at the Garden. I believe John bought his sister the ticket if memory serves me correctly. The ride in on the T was electric.

Halfway through the Concert Kim slips away and we don’t see her till it’s over. She left the Concert to walk across the street to Sullivans Tap and watched the Colorado Avalanche win the Stanley Cup and Ray Bourque hoist the Cup. She was on cloud nine that night maybe the happiest person in Boston that night.

I think that is how I will choose to remember her from that warm night in June. Kim you truly were one of a kind.

Rest in Peace Kim
