My Dearest Kathy,
I went to your house the day you passed away, and had no awareness that you had passed away. I hadn’t heard from you, you weren’t returning my phone calls, and I thought well…. I probably should drive over there. But, I got there too late. I was devastated. Your neighbor was the person that advised me you had passed away. I know that you’ve always wanted to be with Nick and other family members, and I can only imagine how relieved you were to be able to be with Nick again. I will never forget your laugh, your words of wisdom, your beauty, your love and forgiveness for others, and your creative sense of humor. You were like a second mom to me. I love you and until we meet again.
