Rochester- Jerome Leland Soles, Jr., 77 years old, passed away surrounded by loving family on December 28, 2023.

He was the loving husband of Sharon Elizabeth Soles, sharing 49 years of marriage together.

Born in Winchester, MA, Jerome, also known as Jerry, and his family moved to Chatham, MA when he was young. He graduated from Chatham High School and furthered his education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he received his associate degree in business. He had his own successful painting and contracting business on Cape Cod for many years. After moving with his family to NH, he had his own independent trucking company until retirement where he enjoyed being a concierge with BMW of Stratham.

Jerry, his wife, and son were active participants in the drag racing community as J & C Racing spending a lot of their free time at New England Dragway. He enjoyed making memories camping with his family on Nauset Beach, spending time in North Conway and collecting many vehicles over the years.

He will be remembered for his wild personality, his intense love for his family, and his love for all animals.

He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Sharon Elizabeth Soles. His son Cameron Christopher Soles and wife Aimee Nicole Soles, their sons Cooper Leland Soles and Asher Rei Soles. He is survived by his sister-in-law Alison Elizabeth Gutowski, her son Jacob Cameron Gutowski and her daughter Cassidy Jeanne Gutowski. His brother-in-law Michael Creighton Rogers. He is survived by his sister Joanne’s three children, Francis William Muldowney and family, Leland Arthur Muldowney, Elizabeth Anne Muldowney and family. His brother Christopher Xavier Soles and family. He is predeceased by his father and mother, Jerome L. Soles and Olive R. Soles, and his sister Joanne Marie Francis.

A private memorial will be held.
