Exeter- Herbert J. Sauve Jr., 85, of Exeter, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 3, 2019
Condolences for the family of “Herbert J. Sauve Jr.”
Scott, Eric, Mrs. Sauve, and family Im sorry to hear that Herb has passed and wanted to extend my belated condolences to you from me and my family.
Herb was such a positive influence in my life. I still remember our hockey trips to Europe. The 15+ hour ride to the Hockey Ranch in Canada. The countless rides to and from games and practice and the countless hours he spent on the ice trying to make me a better player. I know how fortunate I was that Herb was in my life and I know there are hundreds more like me who will be eternally grateful and appreciated all his efforts.
With love he will be remembered and missed…

The entire O’Kane family sends our deepest condolences and love to Joan and her family. We have been so honored to call Herbie and Joan friends.
Herbie had such a remarkable influence on our youngest son , Patrick, in his 4 years playing ice hockey at Bishop Guertin High School. The drive, perserverence, and work ethic he helped instill in Pat led him to a very successful and award winning college hockey career and then on to more of the same as a professional in Sweden and Australia. Herbie was not just a coach; he was a mentor, teacher, motivator and a friend.
We send our love and gratitude to the Sauve family for sharing Herbie with us!
