Sleep well my friend. You taught me more about cooking than any cookbook ever could. You taught me more about New Orleans culture than any tour book. I’ll miss your quiet strength but I know it’ll be with me forever.

Deepest sympathies to family and loved ones. Donna was an important influence on my career in education. She challenged me to “think outside the box” and remain skeptical, curious, and attentive. She taught me to listen to families and care about the systems that surround a troubled child. Her influence lives on in my school psychological practice.

Thank you Donna for all that you did for our community. Rollinsford is a better place because of your tireless work. Thank you for your guidance and friendship.

Education has lost a powerful ally. I still speak of her often especially when addressing a team of educators. Her knowledge of education, her respect for the journey of families , her compassion for children and her high expectations for the people who worked with children under her leadership are the qualities i strive to have as a leader and that I work to instill in my co-workers. Thank you, thank you Donna for making me the educator I am and for showing me, everyday for 10 years what commitment and education look like in practice. I will carry you with in the lessons you taught me .

Donna was a wonderful caring women who did so much for the communities that she called home. She will be missed by so many that new her. Sending my sincere condolence’s to her family .
