Salem, NH – Diane Blanchard of Salem, passed away at 86 years old at hospice in Salem.
Diane lived a long life and enjoyed many happy years spending time with her best friend and husband Peter, her son Joseph, and her sisters Doris and Shirley.
She enjoyed cooking, hanging out with friends, traveling, watching Pat’s games, spoiling her granddaughter and visiting her in California , and taking good care of her 3 pet cats. She loved animals, the snow, her family, and having a good time. She understood how precious memories are. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and will be missed.
She is survived by her sister Doris Charette Grasso of Methuen, granddaughter Melody Castanos and husband Juan Castanos and great grandchildren Dashawn and Liana Jensen and Joseph and Sophia Castanos of Andover, and nieces and nephews including Karen Picone who she was especially close to.
She is predeceased by her sister Shirley Charette Cooke, son Joseph Olivera, and husband Peter Blanchard.
Funeral and Celebration of Life to be announced.
