I met Bruce over the telephone in 1987, we were both Air Missile Systems Support Contractors for U.S.Army MICOM, him at Ft Riley KS and me at Ft Ord Ca . In Oct 88 we both received notification that we would be beginning our careers as Army Logistics Assistance Representatives (Missile). We decided to meet up at Tinker AFB OK and to travel to Redstone Arsenal together in my 1986 Ford, we reported for work on 14 Nov 1988. We remained close friends throughout the years ( Fort Drum, Schweinfurt Germany, Fort Riley and our countless deployments) one of his favorite lines was ” You’re either an asset or a liability “! I also remember our times at training in Arizona, every time he would find the most beautiful indian turquoise jewelry for his wife.
I’ll miss you my friend “RIP”.
