RIP Tony!! A good man with a good heart!

I will miss you OLD FRIEND! It was never the same after you left FREEDOM. I was blessed to share some of your life. Sorry I didn’t have a chance to say goodbye. You are at piece now with your Family and friends, hopefully we will meet again, you were a GOOD MAN… GOD BLESS (yes, I know what you would say BAA HUMBUG)!!

Bumping into Tony at work was always a funny experience to talk about afterwards to your co-workers. Oscar the grouch some called him. Always had a snappy comment. God help you if you needed to get staples or pens. Like Louie DePalma on Taxi, you had to talk to him through the 5’x5′ office where the office supplies were locked up like Fort Knox. “Whaddya need those for”?
Although it took me 3 years to get used to his personality, he was always making me laugh.
It was a pleasure knowing you, Tony. You were definitely one of a kind.

RIP Tony! I was never intimidated by your grumpiness like some were and I knew deep down you were a big softy. I will never forget how kind you were to me when I was pregnant and you loved seeing pictures of my girls. I did love your grumpy personality and you always made me laugh every time I needed staples or any office supply! That office supply cabinet was locked up tighter than our meds in the pharmacy and Freedom Pharmacy warehouse has not been the same since you left.

RIP Tony. I didn’t know you well but I knew beneath your “grumpy” exterior was a good heart. I’ll always remember you coming in to FLL looking for Cathy to give your ponytail a trim, paid for with a bag of candy ! And your khakis with little Christmas trees every year…may your memory be a blessing.

RIP Tony. You will be missed by so many. I remember the days back in Lynnfield when on payday Thursday you would drive down to work with a stop at the 99 for us all. And every time I made you order me a grilled cheese off the kids menu. You would mutter about it but you always got it for me and it was appreciated! My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I have such fond memories of Tony. He tried to be a grump but it didn’t take long to see through that facade. He was a teddy bear inside. He usually had me laughing and I know that I made him laugh too. Sometimes he just couldn’t hide it so he’d turn around and walk away. You were greatly missed when you retired. Rest in peace, Tony.
