Durham, NH- Amy L. Mailhoit, 48, of Durham, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2024.
Very sad to hear this. Amy and I were very close as kids. I hope she is a peace.
Amy and I have had a lot of chats since I met her last year. She was a lovely young woman. My heart aches for all who knew and loved her. My Prayers will be with you.
I’m so sorry to hear of Amy’s passing We met during the pandemic and used to go for long walks in Durham.
I will miss her very much.

I just learned tonight that Amy had passed and am so sorry. She was a friend of mine when I lived at Bagdad and we stayed in touch even after I moved away. She was very kind and caring. Had a big heart, was an amazing advocate for both of us as we were discriminated against because we were under 60 and couldn’t ride the van to go shopping at Market Basket, until one day she got upset enough to get in touch with the head of the agency and let them know we shouldn’t be discriminated against and they decided to allow us on, we still were supposed to call them whenno one else had to but it felt like a victory. I was very proud of her. I don’t know if anything is being done in her memory or not but my heart is broken. I knew before Christmas she made the decision to do hospice and just thought perhaps we’d have more time together. My husband Steve sends his condolences as well. I want to send my hugs to all who mourn her loss especially her mother who I know she was close to.
It was a pleasure to care for Amy. May she rest in peace.
