No words can describe how much I miss you but I know you are watching over me and I promise to make you proud. I promise to live this life I live for you. ( I’ll even drive like a mad man just like you).
It’s going to be hard not hearing you say “Hey squid” with a bright grin on your face but I’ll always remember your voice.

My thoughts are with the Healy family as one of their own Mark was taken from them. You will all be hurting now at this sad time. I know you all have great memories of Marks antics hang on to and cherish them. Mark I met you as a kid never knew you as a man but the stories I have been told I wish I had as it sounds like you grabbed life with both hands and enjoyed it. P.S Mark I will always look after your Sister Lynn. R. I. P. now Mark.

Condolence from Brittany Sims on September 11th, 2015 1:19 pm

You were one of the most generous and strong people i was blessed to know and to call my uncle. Lord knows, you were one tough man. It hurts that you are no longer walking beside us, but im sure the view from heaven is alot better than the view we have down here. Until we meet again Uncle Mark… Say hi to my Papa for me… You finally get to rest easy without pain… And that is what will help us all cope. I love you. ❤️

My heart goes out to this wonderful strong family at this sad time. Although I never met you Mark the stories I have heard from your sister, my stepmum Lynn had us laughing and crying. You sounded like a man who was always so much fun.

My heart breaks for my American family as I call them my stepmum Lynn, Auntie Sharon, Jim and all my wonderful brothers and sisters etc. Be strong and think of him in the happy times.

Now you are at peace and have no more pain Mark and I am sure wherever you are you will be smiling down on this amazing family you have. I promise we will always look after Lynn. Sleep tight and shine bright you will never be far from our thoughts.

Condolence from Dolan Daggett on September 11th, 2015 4:24 pm

The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said nor never explained, but goodbyes are not forever and we will meet each other again someday! I remember when I was little I had a toy that I broke and made me upset that I couldn’t use it… Uncle Mark said he could fix it; he took it and started yelling at it and said that’s the best he could do. He didn’t fix it but it was so funny I didn’t care about the toy anymore. It’s the goofy things like that, that made him the funny person he is! He will be missed, but we will eventually meet again and the thought of that keeps us going. Love you Uncle Mark, rest easy and see you in the next one.

Condolence from Rick & dianna on September 12th, 2015 12:49 pm

Condolence from Paul Metcalf on September 12th, 2015 3:21 pm

Many of my earliest memories involve Nanny, Jim, Mark, and Tricia. No matter where we were stationed while my dad was in the Air Force, they were always there to watch over me as I grew up from being a little brat to a big brat. Lol Mark had a lot to do with that. From teaching me to give the finger to egging me on with chants of “Jim’s a wimp! Jim’s a wimp!” at the pool, Mark was behind it. He was fun, witty, a little mischievous, but he loved his family most of all. He always seemed to be there, selflessly taking care of everyone whenever they needed him, and even when they didn’t. When we all began to live in different states, he was still there when we came to visit. He took time out of his work schedule to make sure he spent every moment of that week with us that he could. I’ve always admired that of him, how selfless he was without asking anything in return.

It’s been many years since I’ve had the chance to visit, and I’ll always regret that I haven’t. But I love you, Mark. I’m sorry we didn’t get the chance to hang out once more. You were taken from us far too soon. Please look over all of us. Rest in peace.

Condolence from Buck Metcalf on September 13th, 2015 8:00 pm

The thing I remember about Mark was his sense of humor and his laugh. He was video taping me one time when I was landscaping and I was irritated at him for not helping. He looped the video and was laughing so hard that it had everyone cracking up. I couldn’t stop laughing about it. Still brings a smile.

R.I.P.

Condolence from Chase Metcalf on September 14th, 2015 12:10 pm

Uncle Mark,

Some of the best times of my life were the summers we visited everyone up in NH and Maine.

I will always have fond memories of you, whether it was kicking my ass in madden or giving me hell for being a “St. Louis Hams fan”.

It saddens me that we haven’t been up there in quite sometime, but I’ll alway be happy with the memories I have of you and the family.

Love you Uncle Mark

Go Niners!
