Laurie was my friend, coffee pal, guardian angel, cat sitter, voice coach, spirit guide. I have never met anyone like her, and she is now a brilliant star shining down on all of us, providing strength and support for those in need. Laurie had a ready smile and infectious laugh. I miss her dearly but have so many wonderful memories. Blessings…Ginger Scully
I am sad for you and your family. I enjoyed Laurie’s presence at our writing group. Whether it was artfully reading a dramatic story, commenting on other members’ works, or sharing her sense of humor, her thoughts were both relevant and supportive. She was a good friend to both me and many others. We will miss her.
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that’s best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
And on that cheek, and o’er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!
I’ve been thinking of Laurie for the past 3 weeks. She must have been whispering to me and so I searched her name hoping I was wrong. Laurie was a dear friend and I will miss her special wit, charm and smile.
Doug & I just learned of Laurie’s transition. We extend our sincere condolences to her family & friends. Over many decades we had integration sessions with Laurie, & were blessed to be in her singularly animated & loving energy. We will miss her! May she rest in peace. ????

Vocalocity will miss Laurie’s sweet voice and laughter. Condolences to her family on this sad loss. A quote from one of our songs:
If you find it’s me you’re missing
If you’re hoping I’ll return,
To your thoughts I’ll soon be listening,
And in the road I’ll stop and turn
Then the wind will set me racing
As my journey nears its end
And the path I’ll be retracing
When I’m homeward bound again
Bind me not to the pasture
Chain me not to the plow
Set me free to find my calling
And I’ll return to you somehow
