I will miss Jackie, I always told her, Jackie O, has nothing on you !!! She always got a kick out of that. May her sweet soul rest easy in the Heavens. I know she’s already decorating up there ?. Prayers ? of comfort and peace for her family and all who love sweet Jackie O.
I can’t believe that Jackie has been gone for a month now. My mind and this pandemic plays tricks on me and tries to tell me that she’s still waiting for us once Ernest Barka allows folks to visit again. I guess that on some level, I just don’t want to accept the finality of this tremendous loss. Jackie was my best friend in NH. She was always ready for an adventure, to share a story, to lend an ear, or to just brighten my day. She was a wonderful woman who will always live with me in my heart and bring a smile to my face. I have so many fun memories of our times together be they at our homes, on the golf course, out and about celebrating our birthdays or a holiday, or just exploring some local event or venue. Jackie lived a good long life and she was blessed with health for the vast majority of her time with us. I take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and I bet that she is laughing with her friends and family on the other side. I hope that her family is comforted by knowing how much she meant to others and by how much we miss her. Please take care of yourselves as you adjust to this loss. Hugs to all of you.
