Condolence Messages
Margaret Reid and Michael Gallaghersays
Hello Jason,
You know how much we loved your mother. She was a great friend to Michael and I. I think I have pictures of the 2 of you at our wedding and will look for them to give you.
We have been thinking of you and Geneva a lot. Every time we saw or spoke to Geneva, it was clear how proud she was of you.
We hope you and your family are okay at this sad time .
Margaret
Dear Jason: It’s been a while since I saw either you or your mother. She was always a wonderful friend and someone I could depend upon at cathedral to do the right, caring thing. I am sorry I haven’t been in touch with her since my wedding. She is one of those unheralded heroes that doesn’t get the recognition they deserve.
I knew Geneva Evans. Geneva Evans was a friend of mine. There are not many people who cared about the elderly(Boston Globe Magazine) whether in their homes or nursing homes, housing for people as President of Committee for Boston Public Housing, (CBPH), organizing for women in the labor movement as President of (WILD) 1199 SEIU-AFL-CIO, board member of Tenants Development Corporation(TDC), in one body or one lifetime. The spirit and meaning of her work and efforts will survive for ever, I believe, because they speak to humanity as we know it. There are not many people like this lady.
Hello Jason my heartfelt condolences to you Ma Geneva Evans was the most loving, caring, warrior, heart of gold, a Big Mama to those who didn’t have nurturing type of Mom. We had lost touch in 2014 if I remember and I inquired about you and she told me then you are married in New Hampshire. Jason I know how close you were and I know she’s always with you in Heaven. I’m so Blessed to have known her and the Blessing s to have known her and Taishaun and I to be Blessed with her loving heart. Tay sends his condolences. I have looked for you but I doubt you would even want to see me or speak. It’s been Soo long. My Mom says Hello and her deepest heartfelt condolences. My whole family. Ma helped me with housing as well. She was always there for me her word was always so golden. I will always love her and she will never be forgotten always in our hearts.
